Upload a folder

Upload a whole folder of files to AIR Fusion in one batch and track each file individually.

Upload a whole folder to AIR Fusion in one go, so every file inside it uploads as a batch, then check that everything came through.

Before you begin

  • You need the Editor or Admin role. If you’re a Project Guest Editor, you can upload only within a project you’ve been invited to, not the main Files library.
  • You’re in the folder you want to upload to.
  • The maximum size for a single file is 500GB, though your tenant admin may set a lower limit. Your tenant admin can also limit how many uploads run at once.
  • You can upload any file type, but only supported file types run through AI analysis.

Upload a folder

  1. Go to Files and open the folder you want to upload to.
  2. Click Upload in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Folder Upload.
  4. Use your OS file picker to choose the folder, then click Upload to confirm.
  5. Click Upload in the browser dialog that asks you to confirm, for example “Upload 10 files to this site?”. The upload starts automatically, and the Upload panel on the left shows a progress bar for each file in the folder.
  6. Watch the badge on the Upload button in the sidebar. The number increases as each file in the folder finishes uploading.

Each file in the folder reports its own success or failure, so one failed file doesn’t stop or affect the rest of the batch.

Result

Once the upload finishes, the folder shows up in the location you uploaded it to. Click the expand icon to open the folder, or click an asset inside it to open Asset Details view.

To clear the upload history from the Upload panel once you’re done reviewing it, click Clear All.
